A Closer Look at Our UD-L/T Program

Meeting the Need for Timely, Fair Housing Resolutions

Each week, our mediators help resolve landlord/tenant disputes that could otherwise lead to eviction, strained housing relationships, or prolonged court battles.

Through our Unlawful Detainer-Landlord/Tenant (UD-L/T) Mediation Program, we provide a reliable resource that’s cost effective, time-sensitive and high-quality.

This program was created to serve a growing need: helping landlords and tenants reach meaningful resolution before or after a case is filed. With the court’s support and a team of experienced mediators, we’ve seen first-hand how impactful this work can be when given
the opportunity.

This month, we highlight Gayle Glazer, a longtime educator and dedicated member of our UD-L/T panel, which also includes Len Gross and Enrique Koenig. Together, this panel brings decades of combined experience to the complex and often urgent issues surrounding housing disputes.

We invite you to learn more about how the UD-L/T program supports housing
stability in Los Angeles and how you or your clients can access these services.

Advanced Mediation Advocacy: A Thank You to Our Speakers

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Bet Tzedek Legal Services, our distinguished speakers and the Bet Tzedek attorneys who contributed to the success of the Advanced Mediation Advocacy Training Series.

We want to give a special thanks to Bennett Root, Jennifer Terando, Myer Sankary, Lori Dobrin, John Derrick, Robert Cohen, and MyKhanh Shelton for lending their expertise and elevating the program with their contributions.

These sessions will be made available for
purchase, allowing  attorneys and advocates to revisit key insights or complete the program on their own schedule.
