Mediation, Ethics, & Persuasion at Greenberg Glusker
This past month, Devin Tucker and Ben Root presented at the Greenberg Glusker offices, leading a CLE program focused on mediation ethics and persuasion. Drawing from active mediation practice, they shared real-world insights on thoughtful preparation, ethical decision-making, and effective techniques for navigating complex dynamics in high-stakes disputes.
Attorneys and mediators participated in a meaningful exchange on best practices that support efficient, fair, and durable resolution, increasing awareness of our services within the legal community.
Programs such as this reflect our ongoing commitment to education as a cornerstone of access to justice. By equipping practitioners with the tools and perspective needed to resolve disputes more effectively, we help ensure mediation remains a trusted and accessible pathway for parties across Los Angeles County.

MCLA’s Lydia Liberio Joins Counsel for Justice Board of Directors
Counsel for Justice advances access to justice for individuals in underserved communities by connecting volunteer attorneys with those seeking to assert their legal rights. Through direct legal services, CFJ empowers clients with the guidance and support needed to navigate complex legal challenges.
In her role, Lydia will further expand access to justice by supporting CFJ’s four pro bono legal clinics within the Los Angeles Superior Court. We congratulate Lydia and commend her continued commitment to advancing equity and service beyond her own practice and clients at MCLA.
John Glowacki

This month, MCLA is pleased to spotlight specialty probate mediator John Glowacki. Since joining the panel in 2025, John has supported MCLA clients through both our General Mediation Probate Program and our Probate Referral Program in partnership with the Los Angeles Superior Court. He has also represented MCLA as a speaker at the SCMA Annual Conference, where he explored family dynamics and the preservation of wealth in probate disputes.
