Vendor Resource Program

and General Civil Unlimited Mediation

Since 2018, MCLA has been selected by the Los Angeles Superior Court as an official Resource Vendor for civil mediations, providing low-cost and pro bono mediation services with experienced attorney-mediators. Our program is open to the general public for a range of case types though this program.

We accept a wide range of case types including:

  • Real Estate
  • Business and Commercial
  • Employment & Civil Rights
  • General Civil Unlimited
  • Personal Injury, Torts & Insurance

Is This Program Right for You?

Yes! The Vendor Resource Program is simply the name for our general civil mediation services.

Originally created as a court-approved resource for civil cases, this program is also open to the public. Whether your case is in court or you want to resolve a dispute privately, you can use this program for affordable, confidential mediation with experienced attorney-mediators.

    FEES

    MCLA Administrative Fee

MCLA charges a modest $150 administrative fee per party, payable in advance of the scheduled mediation. Payments can be made directly to the Center via credit card or check.

    • The initiating party will pay their fee upon completing the submission form.

    • Opposing parties will receive an email notification with a secure payment link.

Please note: Administrative services begin upon submission, and the administrative fee is non-refundable, as it is considered earned upon initiation.

    Mediator’s Fee and Agreements

Prior to the mediation session, all parties must sign:

    • A Mediation Agreement with the selected mediator

    • A Confidentiality Agreement

    • Any additional documents required by the mediator

Benefits of the Vendor Resource Program

The MCLA Vendor Resource Program offers a cost-effective path to resolution by connecting parties with highly qualified, court-approved mediators. These experienced attorney-mediators are carefully vetted and meet or exceed the highest professional standards, ensuring accessible, effective, and impartial mediation services.

By providing affordable alternatives to prolonged litigation, the program expands access to justice for individuals and legal professionals alike. Our efficient, court-connected process allows mediations to be scheduled and assigned more quickly than many traditional avenues—helping to reduce delays, ease the burden on attorneys and judges, and keep cases moving forward.

What Is the Vendor Resource Program?

The Vendor Resource Program allows litigants to arrange voluntary civil mediations using the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Mediation Vendor Resource List, even without a formal court referral. MCLA is among the select organizations chosen through a competitive review process and has committed to offering a limited number of affordable mediation sessions with experienced attorney-mediators.

    • Mediation requests are submitted directly through MCLA

    • All sessions are conducted remotely via secure videoconferencing

    • Case acceptance is at the discretion of MCLA, based on internal criteria

While the program focuses primarily on active civil cases valued between $50,000 and $250,000, MCLA may consider matters outside this range.
