Presented by Myer Sankary, a Harvard Law School graduate and the only attorney and mediator personally trained and certified by Dr. Cialdini in 2004, this program combines deep academic knowledge with decades of practical experience.
Myer has practiced law in Los Angeles since 1966, has mediated 100’s of cases since 1996, and became a full-time mediator in 2008. He has earned the prestigious AV rating for ethics and competence from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer multiple times over many years.
In addition to his legal practice, Myer has been a leader in advancing mediation. He is the president and founder of the Mediation Center of Los Angeles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit selected by the LA Superior Court to provide affordable, high-quality mediation services. He served on the LA Superior Court ADR Committee for over a decade, chaired the San Fernando Valley Bar’s Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program, and taught negotiation and mediation to MBA students at USC’s Marshall School of Business. He was chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the State Bar for several years. He also served as president of SCMA in 2002 after years on the Board.
Myer’s extensive training includes programs at Pepperdine University and other leading institutions, culminating in his certification to teach the Principles of Persuasion workshop. Over the years, he has delivered this workshop and shorter presentation to hundreds of legal professionals, law firms, business leaders, and strategic planners, helping them harness the power of influence in an ethical and effective way.
