What is MCLA’s DRS (Dispute Resolution Program)?

MCLA’s DRS program is designed for individuals and organizations that have disputes over housing and shelter. MCLA provides access to a team of highly-experienced mediators who specialize in assisting landlords and tenants settle their disputes quickly and reducing the delays and cost related to unlawful detainers and rent collection disputes. The mediators are trained to explore all options and suggest helpful solutions to resolve such conflicts. The reduced fee is only $150 per party for a 3-hour mediation and a $50 per party administration fee, payable before the mediation.

Additional cost savings occur as a result of all mediations being conducted online using Zoom Video conferencing, which can be accessed from your home or office using a mobile phone, iPad, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
